Amazingness!!!

Wow, I haven't posted in quite a while but I have to tell you, things are just getting better and better. God never ceases to amaze me with His faithfulness and love. Over the past 10 years I have struggled with being over weight, which also caused other health issues like fatigue, thyroid issues, hair loss, very dry skin, irregular cycles, frequent sickness etc. After several failed diets and diet pills, I decided to listen to my friend and give Herbalife a try. God's truth is greater than any situation!

Don't ever let the world tell you who you are! God's truth is greater than any situation. Some people will hear something said over and over and just start to believe it instead of believing in what God says. But no matter what anyone says ALL things are possible with God! God has shown me this truth in many different areas of my life. For example:

If your parents were drug addicts, you will be a drug addict- God said No, I have been set free from addiction!

If you have toxemia during a pregnancy, you should never have anymore kids because you will have the same problems in the pregancies and it is very dangerous and life threatening- God called me HEALED! Ryleigh was born with NO complications at all!

If you stay in a town where you once got into trouble and hung out with the wrong crowd, you have now hope for a changed life- GOD changed my life! My surroundings do not determine the choices I make, I choose to live for Christ!

If two drug addicts have a relationship, they will always be drug addicts- ALL things are possible with God. Me and Jono have been living the best life ever, set free from the bondage of addiction!

These are just a few of the many ways that God has showed up and proved what the world says wrong!

Instead of letting the world speak over you, let God speak His truth over you! Do not let your situation, surroundings, or history tell you who you are, Ask God to show you who He says you are! This is what God has for EVERYONE of us. All we have to do is say YES to Him!!!

Don't Miss It!

God just continues to show me things and speak to my heart. And I am learning more and more every day how to recognize his voice and how to be obedient. Mostly everyone already knows that my Grandpa, Papa, passed away this past April. God has really used that situation to reveal himself to me in so many different ways. On this past Father's day my Grandmother and I decided to take the kids and go to the cemetery. While we were trying to get the kids loaded up and ready to go I got one of those strong feelings that I needed to take my Bible and read a scripture while we were there. That feeling I had was God speaking to my heart. Sometimes I'm not sure that it is God but I go ahead and do what I feel he is telling me and every time he just amazes me. I kept looking at my Bible and thought about it and then looked away. I still had that feeling I really needed to take my Bible so then I asked my Grandmother how she felt about me taking it and she thought it was a great idea so I grabbed it and we were out the door. On the way there I told my Grandmother we needed to find something really good to read when we get there so I started flipping through it looking for something that would be perfect. I don't know my Bible very well so I was just flipping through knowing that God would lead me in the right direction. And in less than a minute I turned to:

1 Thessalonians 4:13
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.

Me and my Grandmother were so amazed at how I was directed right to that scripture. It's so funny how we know our God is a good God and a faithful God but yet we seem suprised every time he comes through. Well we read the scripture and could just feel God's presence and it was very comforting. I was so excited about it that I told my Great-Grandmother about it later that night. She asked me where the scripture was so she could go read it and I wasn't so sure about it but I told her 1Thessalonians 4:13. After I hung up with her I went straight to my Bible so I could double check and make sure I told her the right scripture and sure enough I remembered it correctly. Well I went to sleep that night thinking how awesome it was that God showed me that perfect scripture and how comforting it was to me and my Grandmother. It was a great night. But that wasn't all there was to this story....that's just how God is, when you think "Wow, God is so AWESOME!" He can go and take it to another level if you have and eye to see and an ear to hear. So, the next morning I just kept thinking that there was more to it...and I kept saying in my head "4:13".... "4:13"......"What is it about 4:13?" And then out of nowhere it popped in my head! "PaPa's funeral was on April 13th, 4/13!!!" Wow now that just shows that none of this was a coincidence. Just knowing that God is there with us while we go through the pain of missing someone who we love so much really helps. Just to think....if I would've just went on to the cemetery and left my Bible laying on the table I would have missed all of that! That is a pretty scary feeling. I'm so glad I took my bible even though, at the time, I wasn't 100% sure God was telling me to take it. I love it when God speaks to me and I pray every day that I am able to hear his still small voice even better than before. I mainly wanted to share this hoping that it would help others to hear God speak to them and to be obedient. God loves us and he is always speaking to us in many different ways. DON'T MISS IT!!!!!!!!!!

Picture in the Sky!

I took the picture of the sky when I was leaving the farm about 6:00am on Tuesday, June 2nd. I had just driven through the electric gate when I saw something that looked like an angel to me so I pulled over and took the picture. When I showed Denna of what I thought looked like an angel she said it looks kinda like PaPa. As soon as she said that I saw it and was amazed. Just by looking at that picture I took of the sky we all thought about the picture MeMe has of PaPa and his dog Radar and how we thought that's what it looked like. Well I found the picture of PaPa and Radar and couldn't believe my eyes....To the right is where I zoomed into the picture I took of the sky and changed the contrast. At the very top is the original picture I took of the sky and below that is another cropped picture of the sky and the picture of PaPa and Radar that was taken on 11/22/1995. It is like PaPa is watching over the farm! How Awesome!!!

Red Bull is the Best!

Yes I am talking about the energy drink. And I'm not just talking about the taste or how much energy & focus it gives you. Although I do think Red Bull is the best when it comes to all of that too. But I'm talking about the best Company and I can say I know from personal experience. Back before June of 08 I thought Red Bull was just an energy drink brand....but after attending Red Bull X-Fighters 08 at the Fort Worth Stockyards I learned different. Red Bull does many, many, different extreme sport competitions all over the world! As you can tell I am a very big fan of freesytle motocross. Red Bull X-Fighters 09 is coming up on June 27th at the Fort Worth Stockyards and this is only the second year that X-Fighters has made a stop in the USA and they change where they go every year so I would suggest that you go check it out if you are able to. Anyways, I have been checking everyday to see if they have released tickets for sale yet and I also emailed Red Bull to see if they could tell me when tickets will be released. I also mentioned how me & my family love X-Fighters and how we are so excited about it. Well I got an email from a lady at Red Bull telling me when tickets will be released and also asking for my home address so she can send some Wiiings my way. I was thinking, now what are wiiings....(Red Bull gives you Wiiings) so I thought maybe they were going to send me some Red Bull which is really cool because I love Red Bull. So I emailed her back with my address and told her how my birthday was the day after X-Fighters and this is the best birthday present ever. A week or so went by and then yesterday afternoon Fed Ex dropped two packages off at my house......from Red Bull!!! The first package is a four pack of Red Bull Cola, which is some really good stuff by the way. The next package was loaded with all kinds of cool stuff. And I must remind you, I am a big, big fan of anything motocross. So all of this means so much to me. I got 2 X-Fighters season DVDs (2006 & 2007), a Travis Pastrana DVD, Driven ( Travis Pastrana is one of the best and one of my favorites), A Red Bull sport compilation DVD (which is just amazing), A Travis Pastrana hard back book that's worth over twenty dollars, a limited edition Travis Pastrana 16oz can of Red Bull, & a handwritten note from a lady at Red Bull wishing me Happy Birthday and telling me to keep a look out for more presents coming my way!!! That is just so awesome!!!!! Now I must say this is just another example of how God has blessed me and my family!!! Ever since we changed our thinking and actions and started living for the Lord we have recieved blessing after blessing after blessing. It truly just gets better and better! Anyone who wouldn't want that has to be crazy. I believe the world we live in is just going to get worse and worse but at the same time these are the days abundance and blessings for those who have Jesus...Don't believe me.....Just ask me about how my life has changed and about how God has blessed me because I would love to tell you. What Jesus is doing for me he wants to do for you plus so much more!

Blessings

This morning as I was working I just got this sudden feeling that I was going to recieve a blessing. The first thing I thought was "I need to check my bank account"...then I thought "I bet a check or something is coming in the mail today." Then God spoke to my heart and told me "A blessing doesn't have to always be related to money, you can be blessed in many different ways." Then about 5 to 10 minutes later a lady who used to be Ryleigh's daycare teacher showed up at my work. She brought a gift for Ryleigh's birthday and also made me a photo album full of lots of pictures of Ryleigh and her friends at daycare from the past year. You can tell she spent a lot of time on it because it has a bunch of cute captions and dates and has her name on the front of the album. The lady, Mrs. Sheryl, doesn't even work at the daycare anymore and for her to come to my work and bring me those things is truely a blessing. Way more special than money because money just goes away but I will have that album forever! God taught me a good lesson today and I just wanted to share....I love it when God speaks to me!!!

Metal Mulisha sharing their faith

This is about the Metal Mulisha, my favorite FMX team, the loss of one of their riders and best friends Jeremy Lusk, their faith in Jesus Christ and a testimony to the way God can take something horrible and use it to make something beautiful!

I am a big fan of the Metal Mulisha...They are a motocross team based in California. Here recently they had a tragic loss. One of their riders and best friends, Jeremy Lusk, had a horrible crash while performing in an event in Costa Rica, where he suffered severe head trauma and passed away on 2-9-09. I was praying hard for him the 3 days that he was in the hospital fighting for his life so it really hit me hard the next morning when I got up to check his status and all I saw was R.I.P Jeremy Lusk...I remember seeing him perform last year in Fort Worth at the Red Bull X-Fighters and he was supposed to be there this year on June 27th to compete. I realized even more how short life is and how quickly your life can change. Not too long after his passing I saw blogs posted by members of the Mulisha sharing their faith in Jesus Christ and also saying that Jeremy Lusk is now in Heaven. He gave his life to Christ a year ago, at Brian Deegan's (founder of Metal Mulisha & Pro FMX rider) house during one of their bible studies. I also learned that Brian and Jeremy were baptised in Brian Deegans pool.






How awesome is that! Now the Mulisha from the outside looking in you would think that they are a bunch of crazy, party animals, that just did alot of crazy stuff. And that is what they were about when they were formed in 1999. They have turned their lives around. If you take the time to get to know who these guys are and who they want to be it's just so cool! And I know they have a very large fan base of people who don't know Jesus and will be touched and inspired by the changes some of the riders are making. Anyways, The Mulisha broadcast's Lusks funeral live for all of the fans. Me and Jono watched and it was a beautiful ceremony. In the back on the wall was a picture of the tattoo Jeremy Lusk got just 3 days before the crash...He got "In God's Hands" tattooed across his chest. Then Brian Deegan and Ronnie Faisst each came up to talk and talked about how Jeremy Lusk knew the Lord and he is in heaven. They talked about being Christians...They said if Jeremy was there he would say "Trust Jesus" ...that's what he would want...for all those who don't know Jesus to trust in him and give their lives to Jesus Christ. Jeremy's wife Lauren accepted Christ the day before the funeral. At the end of the funeral they even had an invitation for those who wanted to follow Christ. Alot of people stood up and accepted Jesus...I cried because it was so beautiful. Jeremy Lusk touched so many people. But there were also thousands watching the live webcast who didn't know about Jesus...and they started to ask questions on Mulisha's blog on their site about how to become a Christian......The Mulisha had so many emails from people who wanted to know about becoming a Christian that they posted a couple videos and here they are....They are so awesome and are making such a difference...Now I know why I liked them so much, it's one of those divine connection's...I think that's what it's called....enjoy
